Florida Everblades’ kid-designed Olympic jerseys are worthy of gold (Photo)

Brian Rafalski might be regretting the fact that he retired after three games with the ECHL's Florida Everblades when he gets a look at these jerseys.

This weekend, the Everblades are celebrating the Sochi Olympics by wearing Olympic-themed jerseys, complete with a shiny gold logo. The jerseys were designed by kids from Golisano Children’s Hospital and look better than most of what we see on a regular basis.

As is the case with most of these specialty jerseys they will be auctioned off after the game with proceeds benefiting the Lee Memorial Health System Foundation.

We loved the Reading Royals' Olympic design, but the kids' inclusion of the numerous flags, the winter sports drawings at the bottom and, of course, the golden logo, the Everblades have a winner here.
