New England Stars’ Kyle Huckins dekes his way to goal of the year candidate (Video)

The Northern States Junior Hockey League is Tier III Junior A hockey that features nine teams. Two of those teams, the Cape Cod Islanders and New England Stars met Saturday night, with the Stars coming out on top 8-6.

New England's fourth goal came via the magical moves and hands of 21-year old Kyle Huckins. His Bobby Orr-esque rush began from behind the Stars' net and saw him leave a Cape Cod defenders' ankles broken in his own zone before going with the preferred choice move among hockey players of late, a between-the-legs finish:

At some point, hockey will be nothing but outdoor games and between-the-legs goals.

It's very easy to miss the move at the end because you're still fawning over the deke around the defender. But when it all clicks in your head, it's truly a remarkable goal all the way and we'll likely be seeing this one on some end-of-year lists come December.
