The Don Cherry suit jersey: Now every night can be Hockey Night

Please recall in 2009 when the OHL's Kingston Frontenacs held Don Cherry Military Appreciation Night and wore Grapes-inspired jerseys as they played the St. Michael's Mississauga Majors. The jerseys were all signed by Cherry and auctioned off to benefit Soldier On, a charity which assists ill and injured military personnel.

Grapes made a pre-game appearance in a military jeep wearing the suit that inspired the Frontenacs' jerseys that night during a 4-3 loss to the Majors.

If you've watched Cherry every Saturday night during Hockey Night in Canada and wished you could have your own Grapes-style hockey jersey, your wait is over. The fine people at Frozen Pond are offering a Don Cherry commemorate hockey jersey you can wear and be the object of jealously at your local rec league game:

Notice the standard poppy on the label, high collar and image of Cherry's dog "Blue" on the tie.

(Note: Consumers are not allowed to wear visors while wearing this during a game. Also, not available in Europe.)

They've been quiet for some time, but to relive many of Grapes' fabulous suits over the past few years we urge you to check out Don We Now Our Gay Apparel.
