Dalton Prout sucker punches Nikita Kucherov; discipline coming? (Video)
The Tampa Bay Lightning shutout the Columbus Blue Jackets 4-0 on Sunday afternoon and did so finishing the game with nine forwards.
Valtteri Filppula left the game in the first due to an upper-body injury. Nikita Kucherov exited in the second following a sucker punch from Dalton Prout as the teams scrummed behind the Lightning net.

Here's the angle from behind the scrum:
Prout was given a minor for roughing and a 10-minute misconduct. Tampa head coach Jon Cooper didn’t have an update on Kucherov after the game
Milan Lucic was given one game for sucker-punching Kevin Connauton of the Arizona Coyotes in January, so if the NHL’s Department of Player Safety doles out punishment, that’s probably what we’re looking at here for Prout.
UPDATE:
Columbus' Dalton Prout will have a hearing tomorrow afternoon for roughing/sucker punch on Tampa Bay's Nikita Kucherov.
