Clarke MacArthur sets up Kyle Turris with assist of the season candidate (Video)

Goals typically get most of the love, but every now and then the pass that set up said goal is the true highlight.

Case in point, Kyle Turris opened the scoring for the Ottawa Senators Wednesday night against the Minnesota Wild. It was a shorthanded tally for his sixth of the season; but it wouldn't have happened without a little brilliance from Clarke MacArthur:

As our pal Jeff Marek Tweeted, the move reminds one of the Max Domi pass to Bo Horvat during last year's Memorial Cup tournament.

Unfortunately for the Sens, Jason Pominville put home his 13th of the season 59 seconds later to even the game, but they would reclaim the lead when Mika Zibanejad put home his fifth.
