Charity auction: Bid to win Reading Royals ugly Christmas jersey

The Reading Royals' ugly Christmas sweater jerseys were a big hit when we featured them here a few weeks ago. The team finally wore them on Sunday during a 3-2 loss to the Elmira Jackals, but boy, did they look glorious. The game also doubled as their annual Teddy Bear Toss that saw over 1,600 stuffed animals hit the ice.

After the game, the team sold the autographed, game-worn versions used on Sunday. Thanks to the Royals, we were able to get our hands on an unused one (as modeled by Puck Daddy's resident ginger) that we're auctioning off for charity.

The auction is now live and will end Monday, Dec. 23 at 1 p.m. ET. All proceeds will benefit the Mario Lemieux Foundation, dedicated to cancer research, patient care and Austin's Playroom Project, which creates playrooms in medical facilities.

Bid here. Bid now. Bid high.
