The trailer for “Dumb and Dumber To” was released this week, featuring Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels reprising their roles as Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dunne. If the Farrelly brothers were going to bring back the original cast, surely there was room for ‘ole Sea Bass, right?
It’s not a definite that Boston Bruins president Cam Neely will get some screentime in the sequel to the 1994 hit. He told the Boston Herald’s Jen Royle this week that it’s up to the directors at this point.
“Well, it’s funny, it wasn’t originally," Neely said. "There was something shot not that long ago that may make the final cut.”
“They actually approached me after the playoffs were done and said we think we have something that may make sense to put Sea Bass back in. They were able to do it here in Boston, so we’ll see. We’ll see if it makes it.”
According to CBS Boston, Neely filmed the scene in front of a green screen.
The next question now is if the Farrelly’s go through with the plan to have Milan Lucic play Sea Bass’s son after the Bruins forward expressed interest last year. Would this mean Sea Bass, Jr. getting revenge for Lloyd and Harry putting their meal on dad's tab 20 years ago?
