Anton Stralman saves Rangers with dramatic goal line play in Game 4 (Video)

NEW YORK – The New York Rangers have talked about not getting the bounces or the “puck luck” in their Stanley Cup Final series against the Los Angeles Kings through three losses.

Perhaps their luck is changing, if this Anton Stralman play in the first period of Game 4 is any indication:

Down 1-0 to the Rangers on Wedneday night, the Kings were on the power play after Mats Zuccarello cleared the puck over the glass for a delay-of-game penalty. Defenseman Alec Martinez took a shot and it got through to the goal line … where it slowly, slowly began sliding.

Jeff Carter of the Kings had swipe at it and missed. Stralman then moved the puck out of harm's way before it could cross the line.

A sweep of the puck, on a night when the Rangers were trying to avoid being swept on their home ice. It was just the kind of play they’d need to extend the series back to Los Angeles.
