The consensus is that this is Steven Reinprecht(notes) and Gregory Campbell(notes) (although some said it looks a little like Stephen Weiss(notes)) of the Florida Panthers, bravely embracing the spirit of the season in the new music video by Alyonka Larionov, the Pittsburgh Penguins video hostess and daughter of hockey legend Igor Larionov. After all, 'tis the season for giving or receiving ... which usually depends on who's getting the gift, right?
This somewhat ambiguous duo is part of the dozens of NHL players featured in "That's What Christmas Means To Me," the jaunty little holiday ditty by sisters Alyonka and Diana Larionov (former "American Idol" contenders) to benefit and create awareness for Hockey Fights Cancer.
See if you can spot such NHL luminaries as Alex Ovechkin(notes), Evgeni Malkin(notes), Brian Campbell(notes), Patrick Kane(notes) and Joel Quenneville's mustache. Assuming you can take your eyes off of Alyonka and Diana Larionov, of course. We'll admit defeat in that battle.
What a catchy little tune. By far our favorite holiday music video since Bing Crosby met David Bowie. But, alas, it's only our second favorite Alyonka Larionov video, as it'll take more than sleigh bells and signs about eggnog to trump the double entendre-riffic glory of "Cookin' With Geno."
