AHL team VP has in-game prostate exam for men's health awareness (Video)

Mike Wojciechowski could have had his prostate exam at center ice inside the BMO Harris Bradley Center during Saturday night's Milwaukee Admirals-Rockford Ice Hogs game. That idea was shot down quick, but the Admirals' VP of Business Development was gung-ho about still doing it during the game.

From his booth in the 300 level where he runs the game ops, Wojciechowski dropped his shorts and let team physician Dr. Jeff Aldred check his prostate to help raise awareness for men's health.

The exam took place after the first stoppage of play after the 10-minute mark of the opening period. “This is my 34th season here and I can honestly tell you I don’t think I’ve ever watched a period of hockey in my shorts,” Wojciechowski told Puck Daddy on Friday.

The Admirals have done Movember-related promotions in the past, but a live prostate check during a game in the arena? That's a new one. But as Wojciechowski told us, if this stunt inspires one guy to call his doctor to set up an exam, then it was all worth it.
