Kansas City handed Miami their first win of the season, and I do mean handed. Plays like this special teams gaffe made it a bit easier for Miami to finally get in the win column.
Yeah, I'm all for trickery, but it has to be used at the right time, and done correctly. The Chiefs were at fourth and 11, meaning that holder Dustin Colquitt had little chance to sneak a first down in. It also would help if Colquitt could have gotten rid of the ball instead of running straight into Dolphins defender Karlos Dansby. The Chiefs lost two yards on the play, and the Dolphins used the field position to score on the next drive.
