Super Bowl XLII line: Pats favored by 13½ over ... Giants, maybe?

A glorious Championship Sunday has now given way to a Bledsoe-slow 14 days of hype for Super Bowl XLII. Tom Brady and the Patriots wait eagerly for Emmitt Smith to decide what else the Giants need to do to qualify.

If Emmitt does decide to put the Giants in the Super Bowl, though (I'm thinking he'll put Eli Manning and Brandon Jacobs through a series of Double Dare-style physical challenges first), they'll be 13½-point dogs when they get there. That's a pretty healthy line considering that the Pats, just 23 days ago, could only beat the Giants by a field goal.
