Was it a hold? Was it interference? Was it even a penalty at all? We're talking, of course, about the final play of Monday's fantastic Patriots-Panthers game and the referee call that was-then-wasn't. We kick around the rules and the referees for a bit, comparing them to other sports (just imagine if viewers could call in penalties, as in golf), and finally decide that it's an imperfect system but it's the best we've got. For now.
From there, we segue into some discussion of the weekend's events. Who's in line for the NFC playoffs? Was the Bears-Ravens tornado game one of the wildest weather-related delays in NFL history? What can we really say about the Chiefs now that we've seen how they've played against a real team?
All this and more, more, more. As always, thanks for listening, everybody!
