Shutdown Corner’s 2013 All-Pro team and NFL awards

The NFL season started with Peyton Manning throwing a NFL record-tying seven touchdowns against the Ravens, and it ended with Philadelphia holding on to win the NFC East in a thrilling game against the Cowboys.

In between, there was plenty to talk about.

From the good (Manning and his all-time great season) to the bad (Richie Incognito-Jonathan Martin controversy), the NFL season had a little bit of everything. There are still 11 playoff games to go, but we're here to put a bow on the regular season with the Shutdown Corner All-Pro team, our individual player awards and some other awards from the 2013 season.

The writers of Shutdown Corner (Frank Schwab, Anwar Richardson, Eric Edholm and Jay Busbee) were the voting panel. There are 12 offensive and defensive players selected to the All-Pro team reflect the various schemes used in the NFL.
