Any time the New England Patriots hear that TMZ has posted a Rob Gronkowski video online, they are correct to cringe. It's probably not going to be good.
This week TMZ posted a video of Gronkowski, the Patriots star tight end, mocking an Asian fan at an event.
TMZ said the video came from a Q&A event with fans in Foxborough on Sunday night at Bar Louie, when people started dancing including an Asian man in a Gronkowski jersey.
"They told me he could only cook fried rice!" Gronkowski exclaimed.
Gronkowski also called the man "Leslie Chow," which is Ken Jeong's character in the three "Hangover" movies.
While people can decide if that's offensive or not, someone at the event seemed to figure out it might be taken that way and immediately said (seemingly as a joke) that the fans in attendance signed a waiver to give up their cell phones at the end of the night.
Instead, someone decided to ship the video right off to TMZ, and Gronk is again back in the news for something other than catching touchdowns.
