Rob Gronkowski dedicates game, touchdown to late friend

Shutdown Corner

Rob Gronkowski missed practice on Friday to mourn the death of friend Dana Parenteau. On Sunday against the Titans, the Patriots receiver scored the game's first touchdown and immediately pointed to the sky to honor his late friend.

Prior to the game, Gronkowski had posted a message to his Facebook page noting "This one's for Dana." Wrestler Mojo Rawley posted a photo of Gronk and Dana as well:

The Patriots had little trouble rolling to a 33-16 victory over Tennessee, and appear en route to claiming another No. 1 seed in the AFC.
