Throughout the NFC divisional playoff game between the Seattle Seahawks and the Atlanta Falcons, Seattle cornerback Richard Sherman pulled out the best of his smack talk. After disrupting a sure touchdown early in the game, Sherman signaled that the Falcons must be crazy to challenge him.
But when Falcons receiver Roddy White went deep to catch Matt Ryan's second-quarter touchdown pass, Sherman was on the ground. Literally. He fell to the ground and couldn't stop White from making the catch that put the Falcons up 20-0 over the Seahawks.
Sherman's response to White's 47-yard catch? Polite applause. White burned him, and Sherman couldn't help but say good job. White finished the day with 10 catches for 76 yards, helping the Falcons get to the NFC championship with a thrilling 30-28 win.
