Miami Dolphins players who were hoping to get a good night of rest before Sunday’s road game against the Buffalo Bills may have awakened in a bad mood.
According to Miami Herald columnist Armando Salguero, the fire alarm in the Dolphins’ hotel went off around 3 a.m. on Sunday. If you are a conspiracy theorist, the easiest person to blame is a crazy Bills fan who was looking to give his/her team an advantage. Hey, when EJ Manuel is your quarterback, it calls for desperate measures.
This is not the first time the hotel fire alarm gag is pulled (get it?) on the Dolphins. Happened in New England in the early 90s. — Armando Salguero (@ArmandoSalguero) December 22, 2013
Correction on Buffalo hotel: Hyatt Regency is where the alarms went off at 3:20 AM.

"@Air_ick_sun: You hear about the fire alarm going off in the Dolphins hotel?"» yeah, that's why you keep the team's hotel a secret.

Anyone who thinks Buffalo might have an advantage after that incident has not followed the Dolphins this season.
Miami has been under strong scrutiny for Richie Incognito’s alleged harassment of teammate Jonathan Martin. The national spotlight was on this team was intense after the allegations surfaced. Some players were even questioned by the NFL’s independent investigator.
However, Miami has won four of its past five games, and the Dolphins are fighting for a playoff spot.
If players did not lose any sleep after allegations against Incognito, a little fire alarm around 3 a.m. will not disturb them.
