And now for your weekly Percy Harvin injury update ...
The Seattle Seahawks wide receiver, whose injury status has been the subject of much speculation (and often consternation) since about mid-October, was held out of practice, according to head coach Pete Carroll.
Harvin suffered a concussion in last week's divisional round playoff game against the New Orleans Saints, his first action since his only regular-season game, a 20-snap performance against his former Minnesota Vikings team.
Harvin is scheduled to meet with doctors later on Wednesday to make a determination on his status, and he will need clearance to return to practice and, then, to play Sunday in the NFC championship game against the San Francisco 49ers.
Prior to the concussion, Harvin had missed the majority of the 2013 season with a hip injury, which he suffered in OTAs and required surgery. Harvin caught one pass for 17 yards in the regular-season game and caught three passes against the Saints for 21 yards. He also ran one time last week for nine yards.
