-51: Patriots select WHO?; Rams get faster with Pead

New England Patriots -- Tavon Wilson, DB, Illinois -- Nobody likes versatile defenders more than Bill Belichick, but this is an overdraft in the minds of some. He can play corner and safety, and was an Honorable All-Big 10 mention after displaying ability to tackle behind the line of scrimmage and some coverage ability. But most draftniks had Wilson with a sixth-to-seventh-round grade, if a draftable grade at all.

San Diego Chargers -- Kendall Reyes, DL, Connecticut -- The Chargers are always looking for taller, longer ends who can excel in hybrid fronts. Reyes fits the bill, and he showed the ability to play in multiple gaps at the Senior Bowl.

St. Louis Rams -- Isaiah Pead, RB, Cincinnati -- The Rams didn't just get a good change of pace back to help Steven Jackson out -- they also got a bit of a slot reveiver when he shoots out of the backfield and into the formation. He's been compared to Philly's LeSean McCoy by friends of Shutdown Corner Greg Cosell.

Green Bay Packers -- Jerel Worthy, DT, Green Bay Packers -- When I watched Worthy's tape, my first scouting comment was, "He's a constant pain in the ass." Penetrating tackle who will likely shine at 3-4 end as a potential Cullen Jenkins replacement.
