The third preseason game is usually when NFL teams attempt to get into rhythm and solidify their starting lineup.

When your name is Aaron Rodgers, there is really nothing you need to prove during the preseason. That is to be expected when Rodgers has thrown for 21,661 yards and 171 touchdowns in his career, has been named to three Pro Bowls, plus owns a Super Bowl ring. Heck, those State Farm commercials are pretty solid, too.

Rodgers completed 4-of-7 passes for 41 yards against the Seattle Seahawks before the Packers quarterback was pulled after the first series. He led the Packers on an 11-play, 52-yard drive, which was capped off by Mason Crosby’s 38-yard kick.

Despite injuries to Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb, Rodgers completed passes to three different receivers (James Jones, D.J. Williams and Jermichael Finley) on Green Bay’s first drive. He eventually stepped out of the way to allow backups Graham Harrell and Vince Young battle it out.
