And now there's a song about C.J. Spiller

Because all seven-carry, 6-yard performances should be memorialized in song, a local Buffalo band named Sudden Urge has recorded a ditty in tribute to Bills' rookie running back C.J. Spiller(notes). It's called "The Spiller" and is a re-arrangement of Michael Jackson's legendary "Thriller." Here's the report from Buffalo's WGRZ.

Of course, Sudden Urge wrote the song before Spiller stumbled out of the gate against the Dolphins. The tune was born when Spiller optimism was at an all-time high, as he averaged better than 4 yards per carry and scored three touchdowns in preseason work.

You can hear the whole song and download it for free via the Sudden Urge website.

Miss you, Michael.

Gracias, Second-String Fullback.
