Nike has apologized for its geography error in regards to the Carolina Panthers.
The company, which produces the NFL's uniforms, recently put on sale a T-shirt that had the Panthers logo on top of the outline of a state ... the wrong state.
The Panthers play in North Carolina. The state on the shirt is South Carolina. And the shirt as a "NC" on it, which makes it clear whoever designed the shirt was entirely confused.
For anyone who bought that $32 shirt, hold on tightly to it because it's a collector's item. Nike has pulled the shirt and offered an apology.
Here is the Associated Press' report:
"Company spokesman Brian Strong said in an email that a small quantity of the shirts was offered for sale and shouldn't have been. He said Nike apologizes for the error."
No real harm in this one. But, it is pretty funny.
