Atlanta Falcons receiver Roddy White, a four-time Pro Bowler, was listed as questionable prior to Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers.
It appears that designation was very optimistic.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport originally reported, White, who has missed the past two games with hamstring and ankle injuries, would not play against Carolina on Sunday, and he is inactive on Sunday.
#Falcons WR Roddy White (ankle, hamstring) does not expect to play today, barring significant improvement. Trying to get fully healthy

White suffered a high right ankle sprain during a preseason game against Baltimore on August 15. He played in the first five games this season, but reportedly had trouble cutting.
He sustained a hamstring injury against the New York Jets on October 7. White had played in 133 consecutive games before missing the Tampa Bay game on Oct. 20.
Atlanta will rely upon receiver Harry Douglas without White this Sunday. Douglas had seven receptions for 149 yards and one touchdown against Tampa Bay, plus 12 receptions for 121 yards against Arizona last week. He has 35 receptions for 489 yards and one touchdown this season.
Other key injuries:
Bills: Quarterback Thad Lewis (ribs) was listed doubtful prior to Sunday’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs, but will not play, according to Rapoport. Jeff Tuel will start against the Chiefs.
Packers: Quarterback Aaron Rodgers will have another offensive option when his team plays against the Chicago Bears on Monday. Receiver James Jones has not played since he sprained his left knee on Oct. 13 against the Baltimore Ravens, but should be ready to play in Week 9.
Packers believe WR James Jones, listed as questionable with a knee injury, is likely to play Monday night vs. the Bears.

Saints: Tight end Jimmy Graham (foot) and linebacker Jonathan Vilma are active and expected to play against the New York Jets. However, receiver Marques Colston (knee) is inactive on Sunday.
Cowboys: Running back DeMarco Murray (knee) is active and will start against the Minnesota Vikings, but defensive end DeMarcus Ware (thigh) and receiver Miles Austin (hamstring) are inactive.
Vikings: Quarterback Josh Freeman is healthy scratch against the Cowboys. Christian Ponder will start for Minnesota.
We will update the list of actives/inactives as more news develops on Sunday.
