Chicago Bears running back Matt Forte is active and will play against the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football. Forte had been listed as "questionable" with an ankle injury that kept him out of the Bears' Week 3 win over the St. Louis Rams. On the season, Forte, who was signed to a four-year, $30.4 million contract extension in July, has 23 carries for 111 yards with one touchdown and seven receptions for 89 yards in two-plus games this season.

Forte's return may be a problem for the Dallas Cowboys, who will be without outside linebacker Anthony Spencer (strained pectoral muscle). A solid run-stopper, Spencer was designated the team's franchise player in the offseason and is earning $8.856 million in guaranteed base salary, or $520,941 per game.
