Dallas receiver Dez Bryant created some buzz this week when he said he could do anything Lions receiver Calvin Johnson can.
He wasn't saying he was better than Johnson, like some claimed he said. What he did say was pretty accurate. He does have the ability to make the same type of plays as Johnson, the game's best receiver who also known as Megatron.
Don't believe Dez? He proved it in the first half against Detroit with a sick touchdown catch.
Matched up outside with 6-foot-1 Lions corner Darius Slay, Tony Romo lobbed one up to Bryant. Bryant jumped over Slay, got a piece of the ball with his left hand and pulled in in with one arm as he landed. Slay couldn't knock it away, and the safety coming to double team Bryant couldn't do anything about it either. It was an amazing 5-yard touchdown to give the Cowboys a lead.
Bryant may not be quite in Johnson's class, but being second to him isn't that bad.
