• I didn't know people were doing this, but apparently, Peyton Hillis found it necessary to defend himself from people who think he wussed out by not playing with strep throat on Sunday.

• You know the Steelers are always held up as an example of what other franchises should strive to be? Thursday, Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette said that the Steelers need to model themselves after the Texans.

• Stopping the back-shoulder fade sounds like it would be really, really hard.
