Nobody was rooting harder against extra innings between the Tigers and A's on Saturday night than the workers at O.co Coliseum.
They already had their work cut out to convert the baseball field after the A's game, which ended with a 1-0 Oakland win in the bottom of the ninth inning on Saturday night, to a football field for Chargers-Raiders. The NFL already moved the game back to 11:35 p.m. on Sunday night to accommodate the changeover. When the A's scored, the workers were on the clock, with 22 hours to make it happen.
