Bill Bentley, Alshon Jeffery headline Lions, Bears inactives

Shutdown Corner

Detroit Lions cornerback Dwight "Bill" Bentley is inactive for the team's Monday night game against the Chicago Bears, scratched due to a shoulder injury that had the 2012 third round pick listed as "doubtful" on the team's final injury report of the week.

The Lions are already playing without starting cornerback Jacob Lacey, prompting them to waive second-year linebacker Doug Hogue to sign veteran cornerback Justin Miller off the street. Miller is active, but 2012 sixth round pick Jonte Green will start at cornerback opposite Chris Houston.

Here are the full inactive lists for Monday night:

Detroit: QB Kellen Moore, RB Kevin Smith, OT Jason Fox, OT Corey Hilliard, DE Ronnell Lewis, CB Jacob Lacey, CB Dwight Bentley

Chicago: WR Alshon Jeffery, TE Brody Eldridge, C/G Edwin Williams, DT Matt Toeaina, DT Nate Collins, DE Cheta Ozougwu, CB Sherrick McManis
