Because we care so deeply about Arian Foster as a member of this beautiful, loving, all-encompassing family that we call humanity, and not just as a fantasy football commodity, we're happy to pass along this news. Arian Foster told Yahoo! Sports Radio that he's a go for Sunday's game against the Colts.
"The hamstring is coming along. It feels really good, and all signs point to me playing on Sunday ... Rehab is going good and all signs point to being OK for Sunday."
Foster's hamstring has been the subject of an extraordinary amount of debate over the last few weeks, since he posted an MRI scan of the banged-up hammy on Twitter. Immediately, countless Twitter MRI experts were on the case, and while Foster maintained all along that the injury was no big deal, many people believed he wouldn't play. One former linebacker called him "incredibly stupid" and said he'd have relished the chance to injure Foster's hamstring further.
But now, Foster will go out on Sunday, and, with a good performance, turn all of this into the teacup tempest it's always been. Best of luck to him as he gets rid of all the anti-awesomeness in his thigh.
