Chemistry amongst a coaching staff is crucial in college football. To get some bonding time in during the offseason, the Arkansas State coaching staff took a break from the rigors of offseason recruiting to spend a day on the lake at Hot Springs.
Oh, and they also decided to slide down this ENORMOUS slip and slide that leads right into the lake.
Check this out this photo that new head coach Blake Anderson tweeted out:
Staff Lake Party has taken anew turn... WORLD LARGEST SLIP & SLIDE !!! Thanks to Brandon Adams pic.twitter.com/sD7jSuVywO— Blake Anderson (@CHbanderson) June 9, 2014
Football Scoop also got ahold of this awesome video of the coaches making their way down the slide. It looks like an awesome time and they certainly seem hyped.
Anderson, who is the Red Wolves’ fourth coach in four years, will make his head coaching debut at home against Montana State on August 30. Things will get tougher after that when the Red Wolves travel to Tennessee and Miami in back-to-back road games in weeks two and three, but I'm pretty sure he's not thinking about those games as he makes his way down the slip and slide.
