If you haven’t noticed, today is March 14 – Pi Day. Pi Day celebrates “pi,” the famous mathematical constant which is the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter.

Pi, which rounds to 3.14, has been calculated to over ten trillion digits. For some reason, Tennessee quarterback and aerospace engineering student Joshua Dobbs knows the first 28 digits (yes, I counted) of pi.

Take a look.

With a major like aerospace engineering and the daily routine that Dobbs detailed to CBS earlier this week, we know that he is an extremely intelligent guy. Hopefully Dobbs’ impressive knowledge of pi is useful in his engineering and calculus courses.

Happy Pi Day!
