Texas Tech, like many programs, tweeted out pictures of each of their signees wearing their new school colors. However, someone forgot to spellcheck the jersey given to offensive lineman Shaquille Davis.
Texas Tech may do better at recruiting if they could spell their own school name pic.twitter.com/dwG2mUj3Ji— RedditCFB (@RedditCFB) February 5, 2014
There’s probably a joke in here somewhere about the junior college transfer not being able to distinguish the word “TECH” from “TCEH” but I digress.
Obviously, with signing day in full swing it was too late for the Red Raiders to take a new photo, so they did what anyone who has a basic knowledge of Photoshop would do, they covered it up and pretended like it didn’t happen.
Don’t worry Texas Tech, there were 24 other recruits who wore jerseys with school name spelled correctly.
