Penn State recruits get tossed in the air in student section after a touchdown (Video)

For Penn State, not only was Saturday night’s four-overtime 43-40 triumph over Michigan big for the team’s season, the Nittany Lions also reportedly had close to 100 recruits on hand to take in the whiteout atmosphere.

Two of those recruits, verbal commits Antoine White and De’Andre Thompkins, found their way into the raucous Penn State student section.

It’s tradition in the PSU student section, after the team puts any points on the board, to toss other students in the air for each point scored. For example, if Penn State scored a touchdown to give them 34 points, a group of guys will ordinarily toss a girl in the air 34 times. It’s an awesome sight to see across the student section.

It was probably a little more difficult this time though, especially to toss White, a 267-pound defensive tackle.
