It’s about this time in the offseason when college coaches get bored.
School is out, all of their players have scattered for the month and the coaches are left with nothing but some tape of the coming year’s opponents and the Internet.
So, it kinda makes sense that Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy would take to Twitter out of boredom and ask the cast of A&E’s hit show Duck Dynasty to hang out with him some football Saturday this fall.

This tweet is even funnier considering one of the Cowboys top quarterbacks, Wes Lunt, announced his transfer Friday. Just shows where Gundy’s head is right now. Forget figuring out your QB situation, Gundy wants to know what’s up with a bunch of dudes who made millions fabricating duck calls.
If Gundy really wants to know what it’s like to hang out with the Duck Dynasty crew, he should probably ask Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel, who spent the better part of Super Bowl week with them.
Is that another feather in the cap of the SEC over the Big 12? Take that Bob Stoops.
