Notre Dame’s “Trick Shot Monday” hits GameDay and is really, really cool

On ESPN College GameDay, a wide audience was introduced to "Trick Shot Monday," a game Notre Dame players play with a ping-pong ball and a cup of water.

First, it was flat out awesome. Second, anyone who watched it and didn't know about it will turn this into a drinking game tonight. Maybe before tonight.

Samantha Steele played the game with the Irish players, including an attempt to bank a shot in off the camera. The apex of the Bird-Jordan McDonald's commercial-like video (which was posted by Big Lead Sports) is the shot off the "ND" on the wall in the meeting room, off the table, one player heading the ping-pong ball to another and the second player heading the ball into the cup.

The Irish players explode in celebration, and rightfully so. It might be the most impressive play we see today.
