Missouri running back Henry Josey shows off his new Cotton Bowl haircut (Photo)

Missouri running back Henry Josey is trying to make Friday’s Cotton Bowl game against Oklahoma State as memorable as possible, so he decided to commemorate the occasion with a fancy new haircut.

Even though Josey probably had his hair professionally done, Texas Longhorns cornerback Quandre Diggs did volunteer to touch up Josey's hair after claiming he went to “barber school.” Josey asked for some examples and Diggs didn’t help his cause.

It made for a good laugh. Diggs actually tweeted that he was on his way from Austin to Dallas to see his friend play in the Cotton Bowl.

And it might be the last time anyone gets to see Josey play in a Mizzou uniform. Josey posted a photo on Instagram with fellow running backs Marcus Murphy and Russell Hansbrough and had the caption “Last time getting to do this thang with my boys!” The photo immediately sparked rumors that Josey might be declaring for the NFL draft after the game.

Josey said people were reading too much into the post and the Kansas City Star noted that early Josey had said he was committed to graduating.

“Yes, I want to come back and, yes, I want to graduate,” Josey said. “That’s something, I made a promise to my grandma and a couple other people in my life. It’s a big decision, but I’m staying in the moment right now.”

Josey is completing his first season since suffering a nearly career-ending knee injury two years ago. His recovery has been on of the most inspiring stories of the season. He leads Missouri with 162 carries for 1,074 yards and 13 touchdowns.
