Mississippi State unveils new white and gold uniforms for Egg Bowl (Photos)
This year’s Egg Bowl between Mississippi State and Ole Miss is one of the season’s more-anticipated games, and on Tuesday, the top-ranked Bulldogs unveiled the special uniforms they’ll wear for the Nov. 29 matchup.
There’s a lot going on here. First, according to a relase from adidas, the white jersey’s gold numbers feature “embossed outlines of the state of Mississippi within each individual number.” The white pants also feature a logo of the state of Mississippi.
Additionally, the Bulldogs will rock custom maroon chrome helmets with gold facemasks – an homage to the rivalry’s Golden Egg trophy. Gold cleats will complete the sharp look.
Coming off a close 17-10 win over Arkansas, the 8-0 Bulldogs will host Tennessee-Martin this weekend.
