Minnesota's Maxx Williams hurdles defender for TD in Citrus Bowl (GIF)

After Minnesota tight end Maxx Williams saw Missouri cornerback Aarion Penton go to hit him low near the sidelines, Williams made the decision to leave his feet. It paid off.

Williams hurdled Penton on the way to a 54-yard touchdown in the third quarter of the Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl on Thursday. Take a look at it:

Not only is it an impressive leap, but Williams, who possibly is heading to the NFL after the season, hardly broke his stride. The touchdown gave the Gophers a 14-13 lead and was Williams' fifth catch of the game and his eighth touchdown catch of the season.

It came when Minnesota needed a touchdown, too. The Gophers were set to get the ball at the start of the third quarter but Missouri did a surprise onside kick and recovered it. The kick led to a field goal and a 13-7 lead.
