Florida State QB Jameis Winston is such a big Lil Boosie fan that he reportedly called the rapper the day after the Seminoles won the BCS Championship Game.

According to TMZ, the recently-released-from-prison rapper says he got a call from Winston after FSU beat Auburn. Winston is a noted Boosie fan and the rapper says the two got along great during the call.

"We chopped it up ... I told him I was a fan of his also," Boosie said to TMZ.

Boosie was released from prison March 5 after spending five years behind bars.

He's been making the rounds after his release and was on Tiger TV on Tuesday saying that LSU needed to keep its in-state recruits rather than letting them go to Alabama. Boosie is a Baton Rouge, La. native.

But because he's such a die-hard Tiger fan, he can't go all Snoop Dogg on us and start wearing Florida State gear now. We've got no problem with Boosie being a fan of Winston, but if you're going to make a passioned plea for your hometown team like that, you can't suddenly break out the Seminoles gear.

Besides, there may be room in the quarterback and rap world for just one duo.
