Illinois’ football team visits the water park on its day off from practice

Nothing like belly flops and water slide wedgies to take your mind off of football.

Illinois had practice off Sunday, so the team went to the neighboring water park at Camp Rantoul for some fun, though some players still had to work on their elusiveness. Their water slide elusiveness, that is.

This video from wide receiver Ryan Lankford shows a horde of players waiting to smack those that dare try to enter the water. Have you ever been hit by a water noodle? If you get caught just right, that could sting more than some tackles.

The team's final Camp Rantoul practice is Monday before it returns to Champaign to prepare for its season opener against Southern Illinois on August 31.
