Houston 'disappointed' by stadium security members' roughness after AAC win
Houston officials released a statement Saturday night in response to videos of stadium security personnel being unnecessarily rough with fans.
The Cougars hosted Saturday's AAC championship game against Temple. As the Cougars won, fans wanted to get on the field. While stadium personnel are stationed on the field to prevent a field storming from happening, some employees took their jobs too far and marred what should have been a celebratory moment.

Oh, and this one while we're at it, @UHpres: What is worth this kind of violence? What purpose is being served? pic.twitter.com/mbFSybt8up

Houston's vice president for athletics said he was angered by what he saw on the videos.

You don't see strongly-worded statements like this very often. Houston is clearly angry. As it should be. The videos are pretty damning.
The Cougars are likely heading to the Peach Bowl by virtue of being the highest-ranked non-Power Five team in the final College Football Playoff rankings due out Sunday.
