We’ve seen our fair share of acrobatics from special teams players throughout the offseason, but this may have topped them all.
Younghoe Koo, a junior kicker for Georgia Southern, managed to spin a stationary ball with his feet, run up to the ball and boot a field goal. And using the momentum from the field goal, Koo did a full backflip – all in the same motion.
Oh, and don’t worry. He made the field goal.

That takes a crazy amount of athleticism and definitely goes a step beyond a different kind of backflip field goal we saw from Texas’ Nick Rose back in June.
Koo kicked in 12 games for the Eagles last season, working mainly as a kickoff specialist. In 2013, Koo hit 5-of-6 field goals with a long of 49 yards.
