Even ESPN experienced trouble focusing during the BCS title game

Apparently those watching at home weren't the only ones falling asleep during the field goal/fumble fest that was the national championship. Go ahead and put ESPN's production team in the dozing off category as well.

Upon returning from a commercial break during halftime, ESPN flashed a score of LSU 9, Alabama 0. Right score, wrong team: Alabama was the field goal-fueled juggernaut here, while LSU failed to cross mid-field. And much didn't change in the second half --well except for one touchdown, finally -- as Alabama crushed LSU, 21-0, to take home the BCS national championship.

Maybe someone in the production truck had money on the game. In that case, we all appreciate ESPN for its wishful thinking.
