Doug Marrone’s Syracuse home includes an indoor Syracuse-themed basketball court

Former Syracuse coach Doug Marrone has moved on to the greener pastures of the NFL as head coach of the Buffalo Bills, so he’s trying to unload his Syracuse, N.Y., abode — for the low, low price of $1.19 million.

The 6,127-square-foot home includes a Syracuse-themed indoor basketball court, a drop-down movie screen, a saltwater pool and some really horrific wallpaper in the entryway.

Overall, the house has four bedrooms, seven bathrooms — five with actual baths — a couple fireplaces, an outdoor kitchen and bar, a four-season sun room and an undercounter microwave, which I’ve never seen before.

Aside from the wallpaper, the house, which the Marrone’s originally bought for $485,000, is pretty nice and probably a sweet get for any major Syracuse fan. The 50 feet by 25 feet indoor basketball court is pretty sweet.

And I don’t think I’d even been in a saltwater pool before.

It’s a pretty lofty pricetag, but there are some pretty nice perks to the home. And it seems to fit the price tag a little better than some other former coach’s homes on the current market.
