Did James Franklin have an issue with football inflation against Temple?

Debates about the inflation levels of footballs aren't limited to the NFL.

Take a look at Penn State coach James Franklin during his team's game against Temple on Saturday. Franklin appears to be debating with officials about the inflation level of a football. You can see the pressure gauge inserted in the ball at the end of the video.

Given how the storyline involving Tom Brady and the footballs from the AFC championship game has dominated 2015, it's fitting that the first week of college football featured an in-game discussion of air pressure.

If Penn State had been playing Alabama, the discussion could have elicited some flashbacks too. When Alabama offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin was the head coach at USC, his team was fined in 2012 for deflating footballs.
