Derek Dooley’s Tennessee home goes on the market for $2.9 million (PHOTOS)

Derek Dooley is trying to sell his Knoxville home four months after he fired at Tennessee.

The Dooley home is on 17 acres and is 8,818 square feet. It features five bedrooms, eight bathrooms (because you can never have too many bathrooms), a mancave that includes a movie theater setup, poker table and bar, an outdoor living space, infinity pool and basketball/tennis court.

This is a beautiful house. It’s too bad the Dooley family only got to enjoy this spread for two years before Dooley was canned. My guess is that he’s not making enough to afford a similar spot in Dallas where he’ll be the receivers coach.

The Dooley’s bought the house for $2.24 in 2010 and are hoping to make a profit. Good luck on that, Dooley family. Former Tennessee basketball coach Bruce Pearl, who was fired in 2011, is still trying to sell his 10,200-square-foot mansion. He’s asking $2.45 million.

Here are a few more photos of Dooley’s former abode:
