On an incomplete pass in the first quarter that looked close to a fumble, Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops ventured a couple steps onto the field in excitement about the potential turnover. And got walloped by Aaron Colvin.
Stoops was OK and continued to coach, but this might have served as an important reminder to stay on the sidelines from now on. Though had he kept going a couple more steps, he might as well have attempted to pick up the ball himself.
