Baylor-Texas Tech first quarter highlighted by athletic plays (Video)

The game between Baylor and Texas Tech has already been high entertainment and it’s barely out of the first quarter.

Both high scoring offenses lived up to their billing, combining for 41 first-quarter points, including this amazing one-handed catch by Texas Tech receiver Eric Ward.

At the time, it made the score 20-7, but Baylor would score the next two touchdowns to take a 21-20 lead at the end of the first quarter.

The game, however, was not without its defense. Baylor’s K.J. Morton jumped in front of a pass – and we mean really jumped - by Tech quarterback Baker Mayfield for one of the more athletic interceptions we’ve seen this weekend. The pick set up the Bears final score of the quarter.
