Arkansas State uses eBay to auction off a chance to coach spring game

Ever dreamed of being a head coach for a BCS program? Well, Arkansas State is ready to give some lucky people that chance — for the right price.

The Red Wolves Foundation has opened an auction on eBay selling off a “BCS Head Coach Experience at 2014 Arkansas State Spring Game” and it can all be yours for an opening bid of $2,500.

Here’s a little more from the eBay auction:

Your Coaching Experience will include:

• Head Coach for the game on Friday, April 18.

• Give the pregame and halftime talk.

• You choose whether your team 'goes for it' or punts on 4th down.

• You get to call for the deep ball, trick play, run or pass, blitz, etc.

• On headset with the staff throughout the entire game.

• Winning Coach will receive a Powerade bath (and bragging rights)!

• Photos of your Coaching Experience.

• Coaching Gear.

This experience is available for the 2014 Arkansas State Spring Game at 7pm, Friday, April 18 for onsite pick-up only the day of the event. The experience does not include any travel expenses, hotel or meals.

And coach Blake Anderson is definitely doing the hard sell on Twitter.

This is definitely a unique experience and, well, you get a Powerade bath if you win, so there’s that.

I hope someone (or a group of someones) decides to bid on this because it does look like it would be fun even if the price is a bit steep. And, if you are the cash-happy person who happens to win, please let us know so we can chronicle your experience.
